Break the rule of thirds examples

Assignment: "Break the Rule of Thirds" Nov. 3 - 17

This week: Another composition assignment: "Break the 'Rule of Thirds'". Yes, I'm sure you're dying to do this, after all, we love to be rule breakers . So here's your chance to flaunt the establishment. Just remember, not every shot you take will work with this broken rule. Use a very critical eye. Try using symmetry or a centered composition.

I tried placing my subject's face in the middle of the frame. I tend to shy away from getting in too much foreground when photographing people seated or standing.
