Assignment: "Bridges" Sept. 15 - 29

This week: I thought I'd take a glance at the "Suggest Assignment Topics" thread and found one item mentioned quite a few times. So, by popular opinion, our next assignment is "Bridges". I'm sure the first thing that comes to mind are architectural structures crossing rivers and roads, but you can also think about bridges in a more abstract way. The word bridge comes up in music, on ships, anatomy, even in dentistry. There are also phrases- "burning one's bridges"- that might get you thinking creatively. Let's see what ideas you have.

"A Bridge from the Past to the Present"

This was taken inside one of traveling replicas of Christopher Columbus' ships Pinta and Nina, it's window framing the modern city beyond.

Day 318-365 "21st Century City Throught the Eyes of a 15th Century Ship"

I chose to try to create an image to portray the saying that "music is the bridge between heaven and earth".
