Assignment: Fences May 12 - 26
Next month we'll start several weeks of more technical assignments, but this week we continue with a simple subject, Fences. The subject may seem uncomplicated, but take the time to compose your shot. I assume your fence is outside, so don't forget lighting and how the time of day will effect your shot. After all, you've got time, the fence isn't going anywhere. Where else can you find such a cooperative subject? Please don't forget what is around your fence. Is it detracting from your subject or adding to it?
My take. The area around was not adding to the image, so I went in close and used a shallow dof:
50mm
1/800s
f/4.5
ISO 200
